Walking puppy's
Hi
I have 2 puppy's one is quite happy to go for walks but Brin the other one is always pulling back and does not seem to enjoy walks at all .
Do you think she will get better as she gets older , They are both 14 weeks on Monday,

You could try doin some individual work with Brin to get her walking with you. Take some treats or a squeaky toy to encourage her to walk next to you. If you use a collar maybe try a harness or vice versa.

OK so little difficult for me as we had an older dog who was really confident and then Tommy learnt from that , you have 2 newbies . Agree with Chiara and think you should try separately . Doesn't have to be a permanent thing but gives you the opportunity to assess them individually. It may make absolutely no difference walking separately but allows you to concentrate on 1 and sounds like Brin needs the extra help. High value treats and lots of encouragement.
One other point that might help is do you walk them alone or with a partner. Again you have the opportunity to walk them together but give them individual attention

I mostly walk them alone but the odd occasion my son will walk with me ,I usually have Brin as she keeps stopping and pulling back.
To be honest when she knows we are heading home she is in front , as if she cant wait to get back .

The individual walk may help. They all gain confidence at different speeds. You could also try individual walks away form the house so the area is unfamiliar

The walks away from home are the same as i have just spent a week at my caravan with them and she was still reluctant to walk very far.,
I will try her on her own for a few days and see what she is like , apart from the reluctance to walking she's a little Gem,
