10 wk old puppy and 3yr old dog ....
Hi stressed new Mum and poor older brother need help!!!!
We have had a new addition for a couple of weeks now due to her mum not feeding past 6wks. To start with she was so small that we did not let her (Minnie) be alone with Buster for too long. Now she is bigger and is becoming a right little madam already. She jumps up at Buster and hangs from his bottom lip.... he does nothing!!! just waits for her to have had enough. We obviously tell her NO and Leave but I am worried that Buster is going to end up hurt and possibly Hurt her.
Should i seperate them when Minnie does this or let them find a happy medium between themselves.
I don't really want to interfear as I feel this will not help the situation in their minds but obviously don't want either of them hurt.:-)

I would say let them sort it out for themselves if you are there to supervise but keep them seperate if you are not able to supervise just in case

I'd say you let them sort it out. Keep an eye on them if it'll ease your mind, but they have to establish boundaries between one another as well as within the human world. So let them sort it out. Buster probably knows she's a puppy and is being lenient; if she goes to far, he'll put her in her place without being aggressive. That tends to be how it works.

Let them sort it out between them, keep an eye on things and if anything does get out of hand you can step in and break it up.

Agree with everyone here, as you can see I have just been in a similar situation only the sexes the other way round. Tilly would tell him off , bowl him over , whatever was required when he needed telling , he would just go hell for leather all the time but they do settle and know their limits ,
For your 2 if he's had enough he will let her know , Staffy's play very rough indeed Just make sure you supervise them for the moment for peaco of mind
