Be warned... some policys ask you to pay for all the treatment upfront... I believe the pdsa do one where the Vet and the insurers deal with everything for you.

Just a thought.

I'm with animal friends but am yet to make a claim, although I have been chatting to them today as Moo has a dodgy leg atm and I wanted to find out how to claim if needed, they said with regards to paying up front that that is a decision your vets would make Xx

That sounds quite expensive, tbh. Which others have you looked at?

Tried pdsa they don't do a life package ie if Duke was to get diabetes he would only been covered for 12 months . the best they offered me was £18.40 a month but its for 12 months, at the moment i can not find a lifetime policy cheaper that animal friends .

Have you tried either Argos, M&S or Sainsbury's?

also keep an eye on the excess as Sainsbury's changed last year from £75 to £75 + 10% of the total bill!!

I went direct with Axa in the end this year
