Heart sank with the dog!!!! Empty Heart sank with the dog!!!!

So went out for a nice long walk today with my mate and his cross across the fields and back along the cut (canal), both dogs loving it and getting dirtier than they ever have been! Until that is when I turned my back to pick up some poo (sids) and heard a big "plop" and my mates wife yelp! Turned round to see sid had fallen in! My heart about fell out my ar*e!! I'm sure he can swim but he has never done it so far as he's never been in deep enough water and to add to that there was still ice floating on the water!! But sure enough his head came up and he clambered up the weeds! Few!!!!! Heart didn't stop thumping for the next 10 minutes!

oh yeh,hes lovely and clean now!! but funny enough he didnt mind the canal but hated the shower!! how does that make sense?????
