Re: Dropped her off at the vets
"She's so well behaved"
"Isn't she lovely"
"Everyone has fallen in love with her"
"Not heard a noise out of her"
I was almost sure they had the wrong dog
She's home, all went well, dew claw removed and she's surprisingly full of beans considering she was fully sedated for it. The wallet isn't feeling too healthy now tho

Re: Dropped her off at the vets
on the mend? the vets advised she would be drowsey, keep herself to herself, and quiet.
because she wouldnt leave me alone, weve been out on the field for half an hour of out-and-out sprinting after tennis balls, and loads of playing tug and catch in the house. poorly girl my backside
mind you, it is probably the first time in weeks she hasnt had pain in her foot, she even let me have a look at it without pulling away

Re: Dropped her off at the vets
So asking for a wee bit of assurance as when Moo has split hers its in bandage for about a week, no off lead walks which is a mare! Is Lola fine after the op?

Re: Dropped her off at the vets
she's absolutely fine, the vets said she was full of beans not long after coming round, so shes responded well to everything. Lola doesnt have a bandage (apparently she figured out a way to unravel it after a couple of minutes, but its not an open wound as such so theres no bleeding)
as for walking, i was told leave it tonight, but she'll be fine tomorrow. i'll just have to keep an eye on her and make sure she doesnt start limping or showing discomfort.
Metacam and antibiotics for a couple of weeks, and she should be right as rain
