I dropped my birthday bottle

Went to the store today to pick up a nice bottle of scotch. As I was placing it in the bag the bottom of the container came off and the bottle dropped on the floor 
I felt so bad but luckily for me the store replaced it for free 
My flip flops now smell terrible though

What a waste, but at least they replaced it, I've done that with a bottle of red but it was on the pavement outside on a warm day, needless to say it made a royal mess and stank and they never replaced it!! Xx

I felt very bad for wasting a good bottle. My OH said I looked like a big kid that dropped his ice cream cone
