Our Plumber is a useless t*** !

Im getting so wound up with this coucil plumber he is about as usefull as a chocolate fire guard. Called him out bout 2 months out because we have a wet patch on the ceiling in the kitchen directly under the bath when he turned up he had made his mind up that there was no leak (even though the ceiling is wet) and went on his way. So called him out again today to be told the ceiling is bone dry even though a hole has now appeared in it and theres water leaking into a bowl which he has seen , he shone his torch for 30 secs under the bath and said i cant see a leak and started packing his tools up so i hit the roof and told him to explain the hole in the ceiling with water dripping out of and he couldnt give me an answer and just left. I rang the coucil office back to be told they would recall him to the job after explaining all of this in which i told them there was no point because he would just say there is no leak and laugh about it (which i dont find it funny) now got to wait in yet another full day because they dont give you a percivic time for an inspector to come and look at it. What windes me up even more is this happened two years ago and they were called out 5 times before it was sorted and then somebody came who wasnt even a plumber and found it right away. We would pay a plumber to come and do it but then you come unstuck the next time you get a leak because the coucil wont touch it if its not there work. So im left with a leak and a hole in my ceiling till next week its b****y great. Thats my rant over

Start writting letters to there superiors, get names etc, they will act, been there, its time consuming but gets results x

Lmao bluestaff he was asking for it but had to keep call he just doesnt like getting his knees dirty we get him everytime they have got to have other plumbers.

Ive put a complaint in to the manager in total he has told us there is no leak 7 times i mean what sort of plumber can say there aint a leak when the ceiling is clearly wet id look my self if i had a torch

You have right on your side. Keep at it and you will get results. One reason (dare I say it?) that council cuts are going to be beneficial is in shredding the deadbeats.

Yes thats what im thinking what makes me more mad with him he laughs about it like its funny i feel like slapping him across the head and saying do i look like im laughing would you laugh if you had a leak and a hole in you * ceiling. Oh and i forgot what else he said were getting new bathrooms soon and said they will have to sort it there is nothing he can do rang up were not getting them till april next year that showed his attitude as a plumber if i knew his name id tarnish it

FINALLY! Got our leak sorted today an inspector come found the leak striaght away and that useless **** of a plumber has been told off got another plumber here now doing the job so fingers crossed it will be sorted

Just in time.......was planning on paying that plumber a visit after tea if it hadn't been sorted
