Must tell you all about our adventure on Saturday. Took the girls and OH to a wooded area near us, we had previously let the puppy off the lead at the local football pitches and decided to go further afield. Got to the thicket and walked in a little then took the plunge and released both girls. All went well, recalling both of them every couple of minutes not too much so that they didn't get bored. We met cyclists, hikers, joggers, other dogs and each time recalled our girls and put them on their leads to meet properly. All going soooo smooth. Then disaster! Two horse riders rode though a crossroads. Dusty, come and back she came and went on her lead. Ellie come, no chance she laughed as she sprinted after the horses. OH frantically chasing and calling her but to no avail. He ran and ran but she was going for it. The horse riders were fine with it as she had no chance of catching. OH ran for about two football pitch lengths before he lost sight of her. I finally caught up with him as she was slowly coming back. Would never have believed that she had that much energy in her but shows the Glucosomine & Chondroitin seem to be working. Laughing
