So proud of my Percy bear :)
Just wanted to share my proud mummy moment this morning
I'm off work sick at the moment after having spinal decompression surgery at the start of August. So this morning I had a home visit from my line manager and the companies HR rep to check how I'm doing etc etc.
This was the first time anyone (sort of important) was due to visit the house since we've had Percy, lots of friends have been round but there all very much puppy lovers and don't mind the licks and fuss
My worry wasn't my line manager as I know shes dog crazy, but the HR REP who is very prim and proper, heels, shiny tights kind of lady.
Obviously percy loves having visitors and greets everyone very warmly with plenty of licks and shin bashes with a toy in his mouth,
So they arrive this morning and I opened the door with Percy on the lead just to prevent any jump ups ( and laddering of the shiny tights ) once we were all sat I let Percy off the lead to say hello and he did so nicely they both received a lovely foot lick and a puppy bum wiggle. We had our chat about my surgery and recovery etc and Percy sat perfectly next to my feet.
Once we had talked about the boring stuff (work) we then sat and chatted about Percy and just how scrummy he is, neither of them could believe just how much control Percy had over his excitement to see them and how well trained he was........my line manager even took the name of the rescue centre and is going to pay them a visit at the weekend
Percy then sat and waited at the end of the hallway whilst I let them out the door.
He was such a good boy and I was sooooo proud of his behaviour. He's now fast asleep next to me on the sofa having a big cuddle.

I'm jealous of your dog's restraint but well done to both of you
