This floor has grip...
I had to share this silly story of Hiccup, made me laugh so much! He came to work with me for one of my half-night shifts. The stables where I was working have a very thick, tactile rubber flooring thats designed to be completely non-slippery even when wet so that the horse's don't slip. So I have to do rounds every hour to check that everyone's ok and give meds, change drip bags etc. and Hiccup naturally follows me around while I do this.
But instead of his usual 'exploring trot' that he usually does when exploring new places, it was like he was in doggy grand prix heaven with the flooring and would run as fast as he could to the end of the isle then turn around and run back. It was like he was saying "Look how fast I can go this floor is AWESOME!"
Needless to say this continued every hour for my 6 hour shift and I was on the floor laughing. All the horses had their heads over their stable doors and where just watching this nutty crazy Staffie with THE most confused looks on their faces.
One thing you gotta say about Staffie's, the never cease you make you laugh!
