Isle of Wight...highly recommended!
We spent last week at Orchards holiday Park on the Isle. It was cheap and very dog friendly. The caravan was really spacious and we had a lovely time!
The Island has plenty of dog friendly beaches, although some are restricted during holiday season, but we found plenty that we could just relax and allow buster to have a really good run around.
Sandown has sections of beach, as you walk along, that are specifically for dogs. The sections have tall tide barriers on either side so you can relax and not worry about your beloved friend taking off for miles!! It was like having our own personal beach for him!
There are coastal walks everywhere and you will have a very tired and happy Staffy at the end of it!!

Re: Isle of Wight...highly recommended!
Thank you!! He really did enjoy it and it was so relaxing for me too. I could just sit on the beach, throw his ball and let him run around :-)
The ferry was good too as they have a pet area which is basically a glass 'box' which protects you from wind and rain. It is very small to be fair!! On the way though it was full of small 'yappy' dogs...which he really doesn't like, so we sat outside (luckily with sunshine!!) On the way back it was quite windy and we got in there first and had the box to ourselves as some dog owners were reluctant to bring their dogs in. I don't mind, it was warm and dry!!!
The best thing about the holiday was that so many local people came up to us just to stroke Buster and then go on to tell me how sad it is about their reputation as they are lovely dogs. I had 3 different people in just one day mention it!! so it is good to see the word getting around that Staffies are great dogs!!

We took frankie to the Isle of Wight and stayed at The Lake Hotel in Bonchurch, a dog friendly B&B/Hotel.
http://www.lakehotel.co.uk/
It's wasn't luxurious but very comfortable. Dogs are allowed in the bed rooms but not in the Dining room or lounge although they have a beautiful garden so with good weather you can sit outside.
Great time was had by all (Frankie snaffled so much sea water it did come out all at once both ends but he learned his lesson)

Re: Isle of Wight...highly recommended!
Thanks for the recommendation, although my chances of getting there or anywhere else on holiday are very very slim.
