Aww, get a pic, would love to see. Small dogs always do have a big attitude, but a mini bull terrier I have to see!

Re: miniture bull terrier
Mel, he gets over excited on the way there and last week was useless but this week he was the star dog, he's great with other dogs i use chicken or beef with garlic salt on them and he'll do anything you ask him good treats means good training class

Re: miniture bull terrier
i'll ask if i can take a photo of the little bull terrier or tell them to join the site and post there own if they will
The key to getting him to do well in class is getting him there without him getting excited that's the biggest challenge but he's doing ok

How very dare you!!!! At 22" at the shoulder & 30 kilos (we weighed him last night) he's hardly a miniature! Minis are maximum 14".
I am shocked & offended & I won't let Dempsey read this topic!

Re: miniture bull terrier
Tracie i took Samson to 3 lots of puppy classes and decided to take him to classes again now he's a year old just to keep him in check through what can be a difficult period, its well worth the time and money
Caryll i meant to say on my other post Dempsey is so not a miniature i hope they were tongue in cheek

Re: miniture bull terrier
He's been called a lot of things by people (not always very complimentary, especially when he's just pinned down their precious pooch!) but never miniature!
5 stone of solid muscle - there aint nothing mini in that!

Re: miniture bull terrier
Yes the standards are big. The minis are just as powerful, though, for their size - very much like a staff in that way!

Re: miniture bull terrier
The one at training class is a big handful for his owners he's little in size but not in attitude, nobody's told him he's small, i love him

Re: miniture bull terrier
Oooh wow just paid some more attention, I didnt realise minatures were only a max 14", they always seem about the same size as top-sized staffords. Must be their presence they do have hugely wide chests!

Re: miniture bull terrier
Don't worry, I was only joking! Yes, the GSD is a tall one, although she doesn't weigh as much as Dempsey!
I'll tell Denpsey that you no longer think he's a mini - I'm sure he'll understand!

Dempsey says thanks to Skibadee, he's thinks she's very pretty, even though he's never seen her. He says females are all pretty!
He also says to Tali "I'd like to see you try & take it!"
