Letter from DWP
I have just received a letter from DWP This could be because I had written to No. 10 asking Mr Cameron why I hadn't heard anything about my claim for ESA which was submitted 6 months ago, in the meant time I have living on fresh air.
Apparently they will now keep my claim "open" although I am not receiving any payments from them. They have also given my the contact details of a person at the jobcentre who can deal with my requests for information about any training I wish to do. Something along the animal training/dog behaviour line would be ideal.
The moral of this tale is start at the top with your complaint, as high as you can go.

Re: Letter from DWP
It took the 3 months to get back to be about my auntie who is 103, my older brother had power of attorney but he died last May, since then nothing has been paid to the nursing home she is in. The council have been very good but she now owes them quite a few thousands. I didn't even know where her pension was goin. I can't get power of attorney now because of her mental state.
It took them 3 months to arrange for someone to come out to see me, that was yesterday, I have now been appointed as her appointee to deal with her finances but it is going to take time to get everything set up.
