Debo's back leg shakes ( video )
Debo is six months now, I've noticed this before. When he stand still he's back leg shakes, the same happen when he sits the Staffy way. Is it normal or it should be checked by the vet? Do you think it might be lack of vitamins?
It's still happening, there is no more shaking when he sits but now when he lay down,it's difficult to explain,so manage to video it.

What sort of shake? I know it sounds a silly question, but is it just a tremor like when you put weight on a nerve, or a full shuddering shake?

More like a tremor, like when person lift something havy the hand will shake. I tshakes when he put his leg on the tip of his claws, not fully on paw. If you know what I mean

I think he's just putting pressure on a nerve. As long as it isn't causing him any weakness or discomfort I wouldn't worry.

My old dog, Zac, his back leg used to shake when he was standing up and looking alert at something. I put it down to a kind of muscle spasm, but if it sounds like it's something wrong, best bet is to go to the vet, of course, especially if it seems to get worse or he's in pain or something. If not, and everything else seems fine, I reckon it won't be anything to worry about.

Sure hes not excited about something? Marley does this when his prey drive kicks in but looses sight of prey. Sort of antisipating whats gonna happen next . Even when i get him to sit the legs still shake like jelly

It sounds like it's pressure on a nerve when he stands a certain way My sisters' dog does that when he sits a certain way one of his front legs tremble

I wouldn't be overly concerned about it, sounds just like a bit of muscle spasm, have you tried giving his legs a bit of a massage this should help.

My dog does this with one of his front legs sometimes when he is sitting on his hind legs - thought it was some sort of nervous twitch as he doesn't seem to have any problems walking.

If he's fine in himself and walks fine I honestly wouldn't worry . Tilly will stand and shake one leg like this when she is on squirrel watch

Never hurts to ask , if it becomes a whole body shake I would be a little more inclined to pop to the vet and have a check over
