Too much exercise?
I was just wondering if anyone knew if exercise should be limited in puppies? i go jogging most days and milo (4months) enjoys coming with me, but im worried about it putting too much pressure on his little joints? thanks for your help jem

I think the general rule for forced exercise is 5 minutes per month of age so at 4 months he should be doing no more than 20 minutes and that's walk.
If I were you, I'd probably do no more than 5 mins jogging with him but I'm no expert in this department

Definitely too much!
The general rule for pups is 5 minutes per month of age, per walk. So Milo should only really be getting 20 minutes, 3 times a day. However, that's on lead exercise - you can add a small amount of off lead play to that, but certainly not jogging, you'll damage his growth plates & tendons.

You should wait until he is at least a year old and preferably 18 months before jogging with him and than build up slowly.
