Roxi, Boxer X Staffie, DOB 12.10 - South West London
Homing requirements: Roxi needs a family who enjoy her energy and offer her an active life, with further training to engage her and teach her to control her enthusiasm and energy. She is very friendly outside but needs recall training before she is an off lead dog. Roxi can be left. She could also live with another dog or as an only pet.
Her Story: Roxi is living with her owner who took her in as she needed a home but her owner is 70 and finds her hard to manage outside as she is a lively 1 year old who wants to meet everyone and loves to play with dogs! She is neutered, vax'd and needs micro-chipping. Roxi is still with her owner in South West London.
Advert: Roxi is a big powerful dog. She has been trained to control her power when out walking as she can pull all the time and wants to play with other dogs. Roxi sits when told to do so, listens and obeys and is quite a submissive dog. When she is told to stop she sits and lies down. She "waits" when crossing roads and sits at traffic lights. She has no recall when off lead and needs lots of work there. She did defend her space with visitors at the gate or front door, but her current owner is softening this and she is getting better. She also needs work with visitors in the house, though grandchildren visit regularly and love to play with her.
Roxi is a red Boxer X who is just 18 months old. At home she is a very affectionate and loving animal. She can be left for long periods and never ever touches anything that's not hers. She is very well housetrained and greet you like her best long lost friend when you return even after 10 minutes! All in all she is a rewarding experience for someone with lots of energy.
