I got sad for you when i read your first thread, i havent got my puppy yet but ive got pics and i love him already. cant wait get out of this country and back uk then i can meet him life is going be great. me and my gf have had a crap year with things back at home and me been 3 thousand miles away for 6 months of the year in afghan. things are looking up though im back in 3 weeks and move in together and then shortly after we get gary really excited now im looking forwards more to seeing gary than getting back to my mates and been able to have a drink again.
its going to be great
truely hope all the other tests go well for Xena and she makes a full recovery

Re: xena update
Great news Steve, bug hug to you and Xena ><
Try not to dwell on the outcome of the test results, you can't change what they show anyway.
Just step back and take a big breath as you help Xena through her recovery, she will be thankful and heal better if she feels you are not stressing. Hope your other dogs are getting lots of cuddles too.
I feel like singing & dancing now and I'm only an innocent bystander

Re: xena update
That is good news, I will keep the Reiki going to her for as long as she needs it. You have put up an ideal photo of the operation site so I can direct it to their.

Re: xena update
She does need something to help occupy her Steve, try some mind games with her, these won't over excite her but will help stimulate her brain so she doesn't get too bored.

Now people that are reading this, that is some of the best advice to be given, it might be expensive and it might be wasted but do you really want to take the chance, and please people get some insurance and then you don't have to concern yourself so much about the fiancials and just worry about doggie, would you let a child suffer if we didn't have the NHS

Re: xena update
I am so pleased she is still improving Steve, she is still taking Reiki, she wouldn't take it if it wasn't helping her. I don't have a clue how it works but it does.
Insurance is really important, twice my dogs have gone over their £6000 limit so get the highest you can afford. A few weeks ago Tilly hurt her back, £300 for x-rays, £2,000 for an MRI scan, cost to me, £75, all my dogs are insured, I couldn't afford another insurance so fostered Jethro instead.
