Re: something is serious wrong with my xena
Steve, it may be a mild stroke. If it is, there's probably not too much to worry about. Dogs normally get over mild strokes in a matter of a couple of weeks & generally have little or no lasting effects.
Don't forget to let us know.

I am sorry Steve, I can send her Reiki if you want me to, is that her in your avatar?
Reiki helps the body heal, it supports the body when a dog or person is ill or injured so that they can heal.

Re: something is serious wrong with my xena
they found a growth on her spleen and it's bleeding
they sent some blood off to see how many platelets she as got....
then i have to choose to have a op or not she could live for another 3/4 weeks till the next bleed or have a op can she could bleed to death on the table so hard i really don't know what to do really!!
i just pick her up so I'm spend some time with her..

Re: something is serious wrong with my xena
Steve, my dog Judy was about 8 years old when she had her spleen removed. She was then with us for another 18 months after that and lived a very happy life without it.

So sorry to hear this it's a hard decision, but make sure whatever you decide, you're as sure as you can be that it's the decision you want to make.

Oh no, not good news. Its your descision ultimately. Did the vet say there was a good chance she would come through the operation ok? So sorry, think right now she would just want to be in your arms and close to you. Whatever you decide I'm sure you will make the right decision. x
