All looks very relaxing to me, what a great view from your tent, you must have looked forward to that time of day.

Yes, he's doing quite well - he's down to 28.5 kilos. He was 32 kilos.

It's beautiful - we were surrounded on 3 sides by the hills, so we could watch the sun come up at the back of the tent, and set at the front.

Re: Couple of Yorkshire pics...
My oh wants to keep him at the weight he is now, but I want him to lose another few pounds. As I feed him, it looks like I'll win that argument!

Aysgarth's nice, so is Askrig - that's where they did a lot of filming for All Creatures Great & Small. Skeldale House is there, and the Drovers Arms!

Yes, been to both. I think my favourite place is Muker - there's a house there that I'm going to buy when I win the lottery!

Re: Couple of Yorkshire pics...
Never heard of Muker , will have to look it up now. We are going to get our backsides into gear to restart camping next year and the Lakes and the Dales are top of the list.
If you don't want to go so far though Caryll , Edale is a fantastic area , some great walks DF pubs and campsites and very reasonable prices. Top of the tourist list for the caves, scenery and Castleton

Re: Couple of Yorkshire pics...
I just love the high dales. Scenery's superb, people are friendly & the campsite's fantastic. I know, I'm sad wanting to go back to the same place each year (this is the 3rd time, same campsite) but it really is beautiful, the amenities are good & you get left alone!
Dempsey did blot his copybook, though. He chased 2 sheep.

Great pics, looks like you had a great time I'd love to go camping again, only been once when I was younger.
