Re: Started weight watchers yesterday
When I was a child I didn't get any pocket money. Theoretically I did, but it was always being withheld for various reasons such as breathing, being there etc so I compensated by keeping my school lunch money. For years I didn't eat lunch and once I'd left school I found that I no longer could eat it as I had taught my body not to want food at lunchtime.
As I got older I found I couldn't stomach breakfast either so it's usually about 6pm before I eat. Unhealthy I know, but by god! it keeps the weight down.

Wow whmon, I wish I could do that.
Good luck to you Lisa, I need to go to the gym again this year, but without a job, it's kinda hard to pay membership!

Re: Started weight watchers yesterday
Lisa I lost 5 stone last year not on weight watchersjust my own thing, it is really hard if I could give you any tips it would be to have raw carrot, celery etc in fridge so when you go in fridge you can grab them also I am no good with breakfast so I used to have 2 pints of water and a banana. I had tried to diet loads of times before and gave up beer but this time I didn't just changed my drink. Good luck with it and one last tip don't give your self a hard time if you are a bit naughty just get back on the horse.

Can understand that. My diets disgraceful but haven't the will power like Lisa to do anything about it.

Re: Started weight watchers yesterday
I'v dieted since i was 14 but it was always yo yo dieting, but i'v come to terms with the fact i won't be able to be lighter than 11-12 stone because of the steroids but i don't care as long i can still run with my dogs and i'm fit. strong and healthy.

Re: Started weight watchers yesterday
well done too you
ive started a diet last week that my brother inlaw did and he looks fab now.
i have muesli or special k in the morning
a sandwich for lunch (ham salad or tuna)
and fish with rice or chicken and new potaoes for tea with fruit inbetween
its killing me lol but noticed when im walking dogs im more tired than them and getting ratty with the kids when they wanting me to run roundwith them all the time. weighed myself and i almost fainted i was 17 and half stone !(to much good living i think)
got a exercise bike and got wii fit (the only video game that hurts lol)

Re: Started weight watchers yesterday
I couldn't do it.
I've noticed I have put a bit on over xmas which I need to sort out but I exercise more. Don't think I could ever cut down on food I love it too much.
Im thinking when I get too heavy for my height I'll chop a leg off. There is always another way to beat the height/ideal weight chart
