Re: If you could ask your staffy one question
"What goes on in that little doggy brain of yours"
It is said that their thought processes are not the same as ours and that they percieve and remember the world around them as a series of events, like thumbing through a photo album. And remember a dogs nose tells them far more about things than ours do.
I do however believe that they have a 6th sence and can read us like a book.
My experience so far as I am about to adopt one.
"Are you a happy dog?" - Responce - Tail wag - We will take that as a yes then
"Do you want to come and live with me?" - Responce - Tail wag and big staffie kiss - That would be "so when do we leave then?"
Regards
Simon

To Tommy -
"Do you keep mauling your big sister as a sign of your love for her ?"
To Tilly -
"Would you like me to take Tommy to the doggie dentist and get all of his teeth removed ?"
Seriously though I would like to know if thery are both happy and what we could do to make it better

if she is happy
what goes through her head when I tell her to do something, she looks at me, and then does what she was planning on doing anyway
why things like the muffin pan are scary

Re: If you could ask your staffy one question
oh yeah, forgot the poo. Why do you poo in the upstairs hallway 5 minutes after a 30 minute walk? What is it about the hallway that makes it such an appealing restroom?

Re: If you could ask your staffy one question
When I went to the rescue centre I was after an older dog but when I walked her (because I had walked nearly every other staff and felt guilty she hadn't been out) it was like walking a balloon on a string and she wouldn't leave me. Funny thing is she got reprieved from death row and shipped down here the very weekend I lost my lovley old girl so I think we were meant for each other.
She's a very sociable dog so maybe staff chat is just girlie gossip!
