Met a lovely Rottie today
A local Rottie charity were parked up outside our local PAH today raising funds , met a lovely boy absolutely soft as muck , 9 months old and we had a good old slobber and fuss session, must say I could have very very easily took him home with me , had a good old chat with the lady there about the bad press around for both our breeds and was discussing past times when the Rotties were never out of the news as opposed to our little lovelies now

Rotties are one of my favourite breeds of dog along with our beloved Staffys. I would have one if the right one was to ever come along at Woodgreen no problem.

This one was just so friendly it was unbelievable and extremely gentle. Me and Jenny spent a good 10-15 minutes giving him a fuss and he just lapped it up

I love rotties. I was supposed to have a rottie instead of a staff but my dad didn't want a large dog cause we already had two, so i had to settle lol. I don't regret it but my ultimate dream is still a rottie
i had a dream lastnight that i found one and lexi loved him

Ohh Dave its soooo nice to hear lovely comments about Rotties... Yet another breed given the label 'Devil Dogs' because of the odd stupid owner that gives them the wrong kinda publicity.. I have always LOVED Rotties and loved EVERY second i spent with my big gorgeous special guy 'Kruga' ... He loved nothing better than getting hugs from strangers (who were brave enough to come over to him anyway !!) and would just sit patiently and just lap all the attention up .. Yes he was a big guy but he was also a big softie who left us far too soon..
Its not until he's gone that we realise how big he really was..
He was looking abit on the chunky side here but he'll always be Mummys Sexy Guy
He took a piece of our hearts with him when Rainbow Bridge came calling for him (at only 6 yrs old )
Thanks Dave for agreein that Rotties are lovely dogs ....

Always loved Rotties , family and frioends have had them and been great dogs. We had a stupid incident that got blown out of proportion a few years ago when the next door neighbours rescue rottie which was obviously people and animal aggresive jumped the wall to our house and got hold of our BC, it was really scarey as we could not get him off no matter what they struck him with but a good neighbour called the paper and of course they had a field day , front page "Rottie tried to kill my dog" stuff , but I was highly embarassed and a classic case of how things get out of control and its down to the one dog not the breed.
I love Dobies , GSD's Rotties and of course staffs
