after spading
Hello everyone,
Right heres the situation my Enya is now a week out of being spaded & since shes been home Enzo is trying to hump her when ever he can, but he was never interested at all before her op!!
Its not a big problem because they are kept apart most of the time well she recovers/wound heels up, but if I let them out for the toilet he trys it again but when we take them out for a little walk he doesnt even try it
So what I want to know is, is this normal & why would Enzo be interested now??????????

Re: after spading
Best separate them in the garden etc while she gets healed up that's the most important thing right now

ya there always separated at the mo, but I do give them time together under supervision so theres no separation of pack at there maturing stage.
Thanks Dave

I wonder if it is because the whole change that they and you have gone through, I am sure things will settle down if you keep on top of the training

Re: after spading
It could also be because at/near the time of spaying, she was coming into heat (not sure of when you spayed her) in which case the hormones are still there (they take a while to disappear) and that could be what is causing it.
Either way, carry on as you are doing, keeping them separate and discouraging the behaviour on the male's part (though if its hormone related it will be very hard to do that).
