Spading my bitch
She has just come into her first season and bleeding every where ha ha bless her I have read so many different views about spading a dog and I'm very confused about the matter as I don’t know if its a good idea or bad as there are to many pro's and con's.
So I thought the best people to ask is you amazing guys as you all have staffies. So any thought welcome please as I don’t really like having blood all over the house and it smells and I think keeping her confined to a single room is cruel as she thinks she has done something wrong.
So the question really is should I get it done or not?

As to having her neutered, you'll have to wait 3 months after her season is over and the choice to have it done is entirly up to you. I've had both my girls done.

You'll get various opinions on here, I'm afraid. There just isn't a 'cut & dried' answer. Read as much as you can & then try to make an informed decision.
Although I don't neuter my dogs I'm not totally against it either. All I would recommend is that you allow your dog/bitch to mature before neutering. Generally speaking for a bitch that would be after 2 seasons.

Tilly's done , personal choice as we believed the pros outweigh the cons and there is no way we'd want her to have pups, we waited until 3 months after her 2nd season, meantime it's pay for the pants or put up with the mess
