Post by Guest Sat Aug 18 2012, 21:16

Yesterday i notied lexis eye was weeping. I thought it might just be boggies so i wiped it clean. today it was weepyer and a bit red so i gave it a good wash out with water. its clear sticky fluid not yellow or anything, so im more inclined to think it was irritation?

It wouldnt be grass seed cause shes not been in the field, could be sand cause she plays in the arena with her tray.

It doesn't seem painful at all, it isn't puffy and shes not holding it closed or rubbing it or anything. I will see how it is tomorrow, i know the vets open for a few hours in the morning. The wash might have helped it.

Sand will do that till it works itself out.

Our 2 both got a bit of sand in down the beach and it came out the next day in the form of big white globs and fine after that no lasting effects
