Dog On Treadmill
Hi all
Bit of a strange one here. I was on my treadmill earlier 1st time for a while lol, and Ralph (15 weeks old) kept trying to jump on, but after telling him to lay down he stopped but couldnt take his eyes off me.
After my 10 mins, i`d had enough, so i got off and he came over & jumped straight on lol, i couldn`t believe it, he was loving it. I watched him on it for 5 mins before turning it off. He was all excited when he came off.
He seemed to like it, and went and sat on it when it was switched off. Next time i have ago, im going to see if he wants another go, only for a short time. Surely it can`t do any harm if he likes it lol. any thoughts?

Re: Dog On Treadmill
Don't do it, he's too young!
I don't particularly like treadmills, but I understand that others do. However, it's far too easy to over exercise a youngster on a treadmill without meaning to!
If you're going to use one for him, wait till he's about 12 months old.

I agree with Caryll he is too young right now. Wait until he is at least a year old so he is fully devolped.

Thanks for advice.
I'm not using it to exsercise the dog, but if I don't let him have a quick go now and then, he gets the hump.
