Wimp
Took Demps for his afternoon walk today & he had a good romp (no pics, sorry!) with his friends Lady (greyhound) and Bella (working cocker spaniel). Quite rough play, but everyone was happy & the spaniel tends to stay just out of reach so Demps can't squish her! Notice, both female - he likes the ladies.
Now, Lady is the only dog Dempsey will allow to growl at him & she regularly tells him off if he gets too 'personal'. Today, he was sniffing at Bella (who was lying on her back with her legs splayed! ) when Lady obviously felt he was being disrespectful. She sauntered over to him, growled & shoved him hard in the side.
Big, tough Dempsey skittered off & stood 5 yards away looking very uncomfortable!

It's strange, she's the only dog he's ever allowed to growl at him! I sippose it's because it isn't an aggressive growl, just an older dog telling a youngster to pack it in!

Do all Bull Terrier's do the one paw in the air stance when something confuse or startle them? Got to love how many facets they seem to have.

Some certainly do, but Dempsey doesn't - that would involve extra thought and physical effort, which isn't something he's too keen on!
