Throwing up
So, bacon has not been very hungry yesterday and again today. This morning when I woke up he was threw up in his crate and now he's done it a few more times. No food or anything is coming up, just white saliva looking stuff.
Any recommendations on what I can do to help?

Re: Throwing up
Just make sure Bacon gets enough fluid, you dont want him getting dehydrated. I know bland chicken and rice helps with a runny tummy, but not quite sure what that will do with the vomiting. Has he maybe eaten something funny out in the garden or on a walk?
If it carries on more than a few days I would suggest you go see a vet
Sorry I cant be of more help

Re: Throwing up
You may need some medical advice from the vet if the condition persist.
Try giving him a little plain natural yogurt, this should help get his tummy back in balance.

Re: Throwing up
He's pretty quiet and calmer than usual. He just threw up again and then seems fine after that. I fed him some chicken but he still refuses to drink... Will give it some time to see if it passes.

Re: Throwing up
If Bacon keeps throwing up his food then you best get this checked out as he may have a blockage.

Yep, I'd call the vet tbh. Throwing up once if twice, not too much concern but several times and not being himself would sound alarm bells for me

Re: Throwing up
Ok, so I think he might have gotten over it. I fed him more chicken for lunch and had him drink some coconut water and he's back to being his normal spunky self.
I'm going to serve him some rice and chicken for dinner and see how he is doing. If he throws up once more, i'm gonna take him to the vet in the morning.

Re: Throwing up
He stopped throwing up and is his normal self again. He has eaten and gone to the bathroom. I'm still a bit concerned because on Friday night he broke off and swallowed a 2" piece of bully stick before I could take it away from him. Does that usually break down in their stomachs? Like I said, he is better now and has been since yesterday afternoon but not sure if this is a problem or not.

Re: Throwing up
This could well be the culprit. They are fully digestible and can be consumed in large pieces but would still supervize the dog whilst he is eating it.
If he is feeling better now it has probably passed through OK. May still be worth a check up with the vet.
