A Hiccup Update, including Hiccup on a lion!

Hey all,

Its been forever since I posted and been around, been crazily busy with my studies and been away from home so no internet access. Anyway, I realised that its been over 3 months since I posted some pictures of Hiccup so I went through the millions that I have and chose a few:

Hiccup coming along with one of my elective study courses:
I did a 2 week elective with a wildlife vet so Hiccup got to come meet some game and be a farm dog for a while, which he absolutely loved. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of Hiccup being so cute and friendly with a Nyala bull that we darted, he kept trying to lick its nose! And for those who are concerned, the lion was darted and sedated, he was not shot!

Hiccup is a beautiful dog and must have loved every moment of his wildlife experience

You have some awesome shots there, and the one with the lion makes me think of Jock of the Bushveld.

What better than a staffie in the bush! Great pictures. He is looking great and Tyson is so jealous of his time on the farm. (He says he is not to sure about sitting on a lion though)

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments. I think Hiccup had a ball and wouldn't mind being a farm dog for the rest of his life!

@janey: They are thanks! Finishing in November which is very exciting and also nerve wracking at the same time =)

@ANattyrat: We had darted the lion to move him out of an enclosure and back with the main pride.

@Chantel: A definite Jock of the Bushveld moment XD

@Lynne: Haha, I'm sure Tyson would have also loved to sit on a lion! My problem was Hiccup growling and barking at the lion when it was charging us, my boy really needs to learn to pick his battles more wisely!
