Thing was this time they were good at pens. Most pen shoot outs if you score you 1st 4 pens your through. Just as shame they scored 5 out of 5

How come you guys are GB instead of being solely England in the Olympics?

becouse its all one land mass just as australia would be differant territrys but there all clump together
you will notice irland is a isle separate so compete separate

But you guys claiming medals as your own from other countries, that's not right in my book.

its the same as you having competators from the northern territrys the western territorys and so on.
it would be fair point if we were competing as uk .

Those territories are Australia, we only have 20 million population. England alone has triple that amount.

When you have medal tallies comparing against other nations, things need to be put into perspective. Like if you nations are including other nations around them in their tally and how many participants each nation has competing in the Olympics.

After all, why do you think nations like China and USA are always leading in the medal tallies :/

Great Britain is financially 1 country as well, they all have sterling and governed by London so it is 1 country , Scotland and Wales (but definitely more so Scotland) would love to have independent status but not independent finacial status and Northern Ireland , well I think we proved that was part of the UK already with a lot of lives

Australia doesn't have independence, we part of the Queen's Commonwealth. Perhaps we too should be part of GB in the Olympics, you can claim our medals too as your own

Dan we wouldn't want to take the spoils of a bunch of ex prisoners, maybe you'd like to join us though so you could get a bit higher up the medal table and didn't have to go round velodromes looking at GB riders backsides

Athletes from ireland, wales, scotland who win medals in the olympics go towards GB medal tally.

I just think those other nations in GB should have there own identity in the Olympics as well as there own nations national anthem being played if they win gold.

This is the point Dan , they don't have their own National Anthem because they are British, the Anthem is the one from our Queen who represents all 4 "countries". This is not the English National Anthem , it is the British National Anthem.

They do have anthems, may not be as popular as GSTQ. Sure the irish one is probably gaelic and no one would understand it and the scots one is probably just bagpipes. lol
