Hair
Is there anything I can give Tank to encourage more or faster hair growth ?
Most if his puppy fur had fallen out due to stress when he was with his litter mates. Hes been vet checked etc, no mites or skin probs. He has his new coat coming thru but it's quite patchy tbh altho it's early days, he's 19wks.
He's on Wainwrights trays. 3 times a day.
Sardines once a week too.
I'm thinking adding salmon oil daily but would like a vitamin supplement help ?
Thx in advance x

Either of these will help to condition his skin, which in turn will encourage hair growth. You could also give him a good rub with a grooming mitt once every couple of days to stimulate the hair follicles. Other than that, it's mother nature!

*sorry to hijack*
Why the vit E? And how do you give that? Been giving fish oil without it!

Re: Hair
We have a product called Efazol, which contain all the omega fatty oils, as well as vitamin E oil. Just pour it over the food (5ml per day), and the dogs don't seem to mind the taste.
Our previous dog had major skin problems, but this really took care of the hair from the inside out.
Maybe ask your vet or pet stores if they have something similar.

Re: Hair
Just be aware of Colour Dilution Alopecia - it's a fairly common skin problem in blues.
