Hair! Empty Hair!

Patch is taking well to beng told no! If he bites my face and i tell him no he then licks me and stops biting! But he has now taken to biting and licking hair! My hair gets it, my partners and even my brother in laws long beard...... Is this normal??? and how long will it last? Thanks guys x

All you can do is exactly the same as you do for the nipping etc - "no" , turn away & ignore.

mine loved hair, still will go for a ponytail occasionally. But it will get better as he gets less bitey in general (which for Callie was not until about 4-5 months).

Yeah it's normal, Tango loves to do that with my mums hair extensions. He pulled them out and ran around the garden with them last weekend at a BBQ at wits end

Laughing again so glad Moo doesn't do this, she would pull out a mouth full of extensions rolling on the floor

I would try and break the habit of him licking your hair, especially if its long, cause if he happens to swallow any of it your be pulling out a pooie pearl necklace from his other end whistling sick

I have dreadlocks, so everytime one of them dangles down, Loki is ready to pounce unless I'm quick enough to tell him to leave it. Suppose they look like ropes to play tug-of-war with Laughing but yeah, do the same thing as with the general biting.
