update on Bella
Morning all what a lovely day again and im stuck at work
Anyway evrrything is good with Bella is she thriving, growing at a rate of knots, cant believe how quick, being naughty lol, but she has fitted into our mad family like a dream,
Its just a quck question, she is on wainwright puppy dry food , she is having 25gs 4 times a day and she loves it,
On the back of the bag it says medium size dogs 2- 6 months should be having 100-390g a day, how will I know when to up her food, I don't know how much she weighs yet, she has her first jab on the 4th of Aug

I'm so pleased all is going well With feeding, its always a guideline, I prefer to go on the look of the dog, up it if you think she needs it.
Sorry your stuck at work I booked 4 days off, how lucky was that lol Xx

Re: update on Bella
We usually go by the guidelines and adjust based off of the dog's look and activity level. You can weigh them at home if you have a scale. Simply weigh yourself first and then pick them up and weigh yourself again.

Same here. The guidelines are just that - a starting point. Just keep an eye on your pup. She should be growing almost before your eyes! As long as she's chunky (not fat) with good size bones & a healthy 'look' to her, then you're feeding the right amount. If she looks like she's losing a little weight, then just up the portions a bit!

If you dont have your own scales at home just pop into your local vet and pop her on the scales there. They shouldn't mind you just doing that.
