leather collar care

leather collar care
hi all just wandering if anyone can give a bit advice on the best thing to care for leather?ive just bought a leather collar for denzil which ive been looking for for over a year now,ive been told to use dubbing but also been told it rots the stitching?i also have saddle soap.thanks in advance

I usually just use a bit of saddle soap too however Renapur leather balsam is really good, I had a tub years ago and keep meaning to get another! http://www.renapur.com/

I use cherry oil to soften leather (think thats wat its called) and saddle soap to clean

i use dasco clean & care on stash leather harness & collar, i originally bought it for leather shoes but found it works fine on other leather products too

We use Renapur and it works a treat. It hasn't affected the stitching and it also protects the leather should it get wet.

Yeah it's great, cleans, softens, smells nice and lasts for ages too if I remember rightly I used to use it on my tack (when I had horses). I'm going to order some now before I forget again!
