Ha! It works! That's the way I'll do it from now on - the way Nokia tell you is really complicated!

Re: New Phone
It's sooooo much quicker & easier to send the pics to photobucket with the app. Only takes about 30 seconds per pic, quicker than with the pc!

Have you tried this
Hold down the volume down button and the power button for 10 seconds and it should restart successfully.

Re: New Phone
Nothing seems to do anything. I know the phone's working - you can hear it & feel the vibration when you press things, but just no screen - and as it works from the touch screen, at the moment it's useless!

Re: New Phone
Well, good news & bad news. I had to take it to the local Nokia store which (luckily) is quite close.
Basically, I used it in the rain & water got in. So it's down to me. It's cost £55 to replace the front, but the guy in the shop told me to claim the cost of a new phone on my contents insurance because although it's been repaired there's no telling what damage might have been done that he can't see & it could go wrong in the future.
Water damage isn't covered by the warranty.

Re: New Phone
Hate insurance companies and warranties they always find a way around it. The last dog I had was a boxer who thought it would be a good idea to eat my sofa. Phone house insurance and they asked was it my dog? cos if it is my dog then I'm not covered. I said no I left the door open and a fecking wild dingo walked in and did it.
