CaniX
Does anyone here do caniX with their staff or other dog?
I'm going to start it with Harv as i've been running with him. Possibly not Chance as his endurance is awful and he overheats so easy so it would probably be a bit dangerous for him. I might try a gentle run with him and see how he goes.
I have a running/walking belt on order as it is but I know he'd love it excited now for it to get here, just ordering him a X back harness to use for it, so can keep his normal harness for walking

I'm aware of it but have never done it - in fact, your description of Chance's suitability describes me perfectly!

A guy on another forum (not staffy!) does it & he's gone into it in a BIG way, always off somewhere!
And me!

Re: CaniX
Tried a bit with Ledger but since doing the marathon in April I haven't been able to face running!!! However if it ever stops raining I will get him out on the hands free lead again as I'm tempted to sign up for a 10k race for life in September and actually try one of the Canix events one day
My only problem was I became much more aware of how often he does actually get distracted by a scent or * his leg!

Haha
I've been jogging with Harv before, on walks he stops every 2 seconds to sniff something so takes forever, but when running he ignores everything!

Re: CaniX
Started training for caniX next year today decided i am going to do it with both boys, but break chance into it gently.
Starting out with going with the boy separately to get them used to running and pulling ahead and they get them together in the rig to keep them running side by side.
So tonight was harvey's turn and i'm using the C25K program so alternating between jogging and walking and he did bloody well happy days!
