Darlene, Staffie X Lurcher, DOB 11.11 - Farnham, Surrey
Homing requirements: Darlene needs a loving dog experienced home to offer her a fresh start, training and lots of activity to relax her, engage her intelligence and to develop her skills. Secure garden and a dog centred life.
Video: Darlene First Glimpse
Video: Darlene on her first run about in 6 weeks
Her Story: Darlene was taken into a Charity Vet as a non weight-bearing 7 month old pup with an obvious fracture at least 3 days old. Her owner said she 'fell down the stairs'. She was transferred to a vet hospital and her back left legs fractured femur was pinned on 18.5.12. Her owner signed her over. Doing well so was spayed 18.6.12. Wormed, flea treated and fully vax'd. Transferred into our care 29.06.12 to weight bear and rebuild her muscle up and ready for us to find her forever home. Currently in Farnham, Surrey and looking for a foster place.
Advert:Darlene is an absolute Darling! A puppy who is recovering from a fractured leg. She is making an excellent recovery and charming us all. She is a little shy of people but moments later she is bestest of friends. Early days she is just so pleased to be with us having spent 6 weeks in a vets.
Darlene is a slender black Staffie X with white effects on her fur coat! She is leggy and is a lurcher x bull breed. She needs everything to begin her life with a fresh start. She need above all tender loving care and heaps of love and patience.
