Gone off his food
Hi
Just would like some advice.
Bruno is normally a dog (18 months old ) that will eat his dinner in one sitting so to speak. But the last 4 days he doesn't eat like he normally does, he has a bit then walks off then goes back for more then again walks off. Today he got fed normal time 6.45am had a bit of food walked off then went back and had some more. then about 8.30am i took him out for his walk, came back he had a drink and a mouthful of food and he is now laying outside. Is it normal for his behaviour to change like this or should i be concerned ? otherwise he is his normal happy self, running around, jumping around like a kangaroo lol and drinking and going for his business like any other day.
Helllllllllllpppp
Anne xx

Hi Anne, It could be the weather, its a little humid for them, try feeding and taking it up so he can't graze

Re: Gone off his food
What do you feed him? I'm pretty sure you've said before but I can't remember!

Re: Gone off his food
Leaving food down can make a dog be picky so to speak. As advised don't leave it more than 15-20mins.

Re: Gone off his food
Caryll - he is fed on james wellbeloved which he normally loves. We have changed the container that we store it in as they were giving away free jame wellbeloved container with the food.
Equi - thanks for advice, i took it up this morning after his walk. and took it up again after his evening meal.
Will continue to do this till he is eating normal again.
Can't be much wrong as he is pinching toliet rolls from the bathroom (as our bathroom is downstairs in this house) and taking them into the garden and ripping them up heehee.
