dog food
Hey guys , just abit of advice regarding food . Ziggy has been on Arden grange as he was on berrimans and didnt get on with the chicken in it . We got him on arden grange lamb and rice and he was doing great coat great , no more dandruff . We got him neutered and noticed they had increased the size of the biscuits in the bag . since then he has had trouble pooing , he strains quite hard and often pee's at the same time . we took him to the vets to check it wasnt to do with the neutering , they said it could just be hormones etc . Im im now confident its to do with the food as we tried him on mini adult lamb and rice arden grange which he didnt like . we swapped him back to the normal adult and the pieces are large again . but we are back to him having trouble pooing .
Any one ever had troubles similar to this ? can u recommend another type of food similar as he was in great shape on this food , until now they have changed the pellet size .
Thanks Laws and Ziggy

Re: dog food
It won't be the size of the kibble because it would just break down in his stomach. Maybe they've changed the recipe a little.
If you're looking to change to something without chicken, you could try Fish4dogs - highly recommended by several of the members here.

Fish4Dogs is great, worked wonders for Moo, it was from advice here that I took her off meat, especially chicken as it didn't agree with her and put her on fish

I also have both my dogs on fish4dogs and it's been great. Buster did have quite soft poos before, but now they are all perfect everytime, and LuLu's skin is loads better than it was - being hairless her skin used to dry out alot, but no problems since changing her over

Re: dog food
We are currently changing Rockys food from James Welbeloved to Barking Heads TLC. We think the JWB is giving him bad bottom burbs so will wait and see for any difference.
