Money saving ideas
Just looking for some ideas to save a bit of money and cut down costs while hunting for a job. We started to hang clothes outside to dry and a few other things. I was wondering what else other people are doing to get some ideas.

Wear you underpants back to front, inside out and inside out and back to front. Less washing

Re: Money saving ideas
Whatever you usually eat, wash with, shower in etc find a cheaper version/look for offers on it.
If you have any phone contracts see how much it would be to buy out and get pay as you go, reduce any cable packages you have and really don't need (i.e. we have the movie channels and we watch the free ones only!!)
Don't drive about just for the sake of it, only drive to and from places you really need to. Buy a cheaper version of sukis treats and if you regularly buy her new bedding try to buy a cheaper one!
Buying in bulk is usually cheaper too, so buy lots of noodles

Doing all of this already and we use vegetables for her treats. We get free cable as well so no expense there Good advice though

I would, but I don't wear bottoms (Jeans, trackies etc) and the parents at the school are already up in arms about me picking my daughter up. Personally I can't see the problem, I always wear clean wellies and a clean vest.

Food is often the biggest budget buster. Eat a little less meat and more veggies and rice. Buy stuff on sale and in season and not just what you like. Eating out is way more expensive as well. Look at your statements and see if you have subscriptions you forgot about and if you do, cancel them. If you have a seperate landline, consider switching it off and going cell only (saved about $50/mo) on that one.

We eat a ton of veggies, rarely eat out and haven't had a landline for years. People seem not to understand time zones and I got tired of being woken up at 2 in the morning. Good ideas though
