VOTE STAFFY

Hello everyone, I've recently adopted my first dog, a lovely Staffy called Nancy who we rescued 2 months ago.

She's a cancer survivor and is the most loving and gentle creature... she's around 6 (can't be sure) and went to the rescue centre after her owner went to prison (we have no idea what for).

I've just signed up to this website to communicate with other Staffy lovers as this is my first dog; although my girlfriend has had dogs in the past this is our first Staffy and we are converted!

We were approached by a local photographer who wanted to photograph her for a competition he is running and he has taken some lovely pictures of her, but currently she's being beaten by two dogs... I've scratched my head as to how we can get some votes and who better to ask but fellow Staffy lovers?

We'd love it if you could help as Nancy is a lovely dog, and a vote for Nancy is a vote for Staffies!

Oops, sorry, it was a shortened URL (using tinyurl), didn't realise Fbook was bad... no excuse but I'm at work so I'm having to be sneaky...

I've uploaded the pic as my avatar so you should be able to see it there. The photographer was Martin Edwards, he's taken some great dog pics, there's one I really like of a blue Staffy too!

Nancy's great, she's converted loads of people who were previously worried about staffies... she's a great advert for the breed... soft, quiet, cuddly, really good with kids and other dogs... I just wish she'd come into my life sooner!
