Miami-Dade County BSL

I have potential great news for everyone! There will be a question on the ballot in Miami-Dade County, Florida, USA to repeal their ineffective, archaic and unethical ban on Pit Bulls and dogs identified as "pit bulls!" If you live in Miami-Dade County or know someone who does, please vote YES on the ballot question "Shall the ordinance repealing the county’s 23 year old law prohibiting the ownership of pit bulls as a dangerous breed of dogs become effective?" to REPEAL the county's BSL!

I hope that it goes the right way. Seems more people are figuring out that BSL is just plain wrong and doesn't do a thing to help anything!

It may not happen with this ballot question, but just the fact that this question is on the ballot is progress! This will be the first time that voters have a say on the ban!

Its a stupid law and should be abolished. Posted this to Victoria Stillwell? She does a lot of anti-BSL posting. If you don't have her on FB i can post it for you.

Oh yes, please do! Pinecrest is in Miami-Dade. Also, if they're interested, tell them to check out the Miami Coalition Against Breed Specific Legislation, I just came across them today and they are doing a lot of work to repeal Miami's BSL!
