Re: Jimmy Carr ???
we all have different opinions i think it's wrong and it's time the government stop it when people like my mum who lose she job because of the cut backs would she lost her job if these people paid their share who knows. I think i hear that Tax Avoidance thing are costing the uk 10 billion plus each year!!
Re: Jimmy Carr ???
He could do his own tax returns but he employes someone to do that for him. I think it's the bigger companies that need clamping down on, like vodaphone (Joke) tol thetax office if they have to pay their tax bill they will take their business elsewhere and the tax man says ok just pay 20% of it and we will write off the other 80%
Go Elsewhere? they are making millions why the hell would they go elsewhere? Tax office man up!

Re: Jimmy Carr ???
of course the government is losing the tax but i find it criminal( when yes ppl are losing their jobs and struggle) but look at how corrupt the government themselves are when it comes to finances .. declaring homes (2nd homes against tax) declaring things that i know are not tax deductable . , yet what he did was legal and he had declared it ...if it was illegal then i would be of a different opinion. the government should do a better job so that these loopholes cant be used
sorry to hear your mum lost her job what did she do?

he was earning millions and only paying 1% toward tax or something like that,
she was a assistant librarian for 30 odd years, she not even bothering looking for a job now she going without money till she can get her state pension.
she was on the dole but they was offering her job in london so she just sign off when her time was up.

Re: Jimmy Carr ???
It seems he made "A Terrible Error". I bet half the polititions were quietly telling David Cameron to shut about it as they are doing the same thing

The reason they are doing the same is because they are the one's who created the loop holes and the papers who targeted Jimmy Carr.......guess what.....yes don't pay any tax as they are classed as an off shore business
