Sad me and sash home alone

Post by stella Thu Jun 21 2012, 19:01

well living on the isle of wight we have the pop festival that started to day, normally they have around 50,000 festival goers but this year have added an extra 20,000!any one thats been to the island knows that its not a big place and all those extra people makes getting around a pain, well its been raining for the last couple of days and the site is like a mud bath, not my idea of fun but that must be a age thing Laughing .well the traffic has been a nightmare,a 20 min drive took 5 hours Surprised ,buses have been cancelled and the ferrys are running 3 hours late.my hubby works on the main land and cant get home so is staying over,my 18 year old son has gone awol, prob up the festival drunk Laughing ,so just me and sash, think thats good really!

Last time I was there would be about 4 years ago probably , I installed their TRUMPF laser when it was new about 8 years ago . 2 years in a row I came over in Summer and did the service on the machine in exchange for a free week camping on the company with the family at Whitecliff Bay. Only pain about the place was always getting there but I always took the Red Funnel from Southampton as I had to drive 3.5 /4 hrs down and I got a longer break that way.

The only names I remember from there now would be the directors , and the operator Ben
