I give my two a fish body oil capsule which contains omega 3 and 6

But if you are going to give them such as FBO then you need to give vitamin E, capsules work well.

Also cod liver oil/capsules aren't the best, they contain vit a and d which are fat soluble and affect the liver in the same way alcohol does

Oh and i buy them from wilkinsons along with garlic capsules

Restraining orders take a while to get passed, so you should apply to avoid disappointment. Please be patient apparently I have a back log Wink

Still looking Laughing
Had ebay and amazon open now for days. Keep getting distracted.
Interesting if you type omega 3 into ebay, the first 2 results are alloy wheels for a car confused

Thats what I'm going to do to start off with. Then if it does solve it, then just give it 2-3 times a week.
I will give a pot a day if it sorted it. At the moment it looks like no one is taking care of him. Bald patches make it look like no one is looking after him. He is fine within himself, just looks like a scruff

I have always given my staffies fish oil capsules (from holland and barratt) I keep them in the freezer, partly because they can lose their strength quickly in warm weather but also because it avoids the horrible smelling oil going everywhere if they burst when the dog chews them! Mabel loves them frozen and waits by the freezer every morning for her fix! With regard to garlic, I think you have to be quite careful about giving garlic to dogs, something to do with it causing some type of anaemia (onions can do this as well.

onion is toxic to dogs in small amounts.

Garlic is safe to give your dog unless you gave say a whole bulb a day for months then you would cause a problem. Garlic in small amounts is totally safe to give is a natural fleaer along with other health benefits so you don't need to worry.
