Scratch on nose
Hi guys
Ralph was playing with my friends Boxer bitch this evening and managed to get a scratch on the end of his nose - the black part...
Should I bathe it in something or just leave to its own devices?
It doesn't seem to be bothering him at all, in fact we didn't notice it until he'd stopped playing. He didn't even make a noise!

Re: Scratch on nose
If its just a scratch then i would just leave it. Dogs heal pretty fast.
If its deep then by all means bathe it in a bit of salty tepid water.
Once a scab forms (the bodys own plaster) this will prevent dirt getting into the wound as it heals

Re: Scratch on nose
I'd just wipe it gently with some warm, salty water & then leave it. It should heal quickly on its own.
