Tommy and the yellow garden snake
We did a bit of exploring in the back garden today , to my horror Tommy discovered a rare yellow garden snake and decided he had to tackle it to protect me from imminent danger

He'd already killed the green one earlier , he just wanted to leave it there so the yellow one knew not to mess with him

I did notice the green one seems to have bled all over. Good thing you have a protection dog.

What a brave boy!
But I think you've been negligent in allowing a dangerous snake into your garden when you have such a young pup around, so I'll be up on the first train in the morning to take him away to a place of safety. >

You have to watch out for those yellow garden snakes and the green ones too. Not too sure which is worst though

Re: Tommy and the yellow garden snake
you can still come and get him though and train him to be a good little boy, not to bite ears, mouth , nipples or bare his teeth to his sister , and lastly not to spend 30 mins in the garden then come straight in and wee on my office floor !!!
Only 96 more to go - are you going for it tonight , a few tomorrow seems too easy .
I've got 4 more to 3000 I think. And I can see a few people that better start some serious posting or they going down

Aw I want to squish him and squeeze him and kiss him and tickle his tummy and play for hours with him. He's such a gorgeous, chunky monkey, I want him!!

I'm going to leave that one until I try and get him some confidence in water I think . Have tried picking him up and dipping his toes in the water when I'm in the bath and he seems quite content to have a little paddle so I have high hopes for him being a water lover (not like Suki or Tilly )

He is very squishy Shon , took him to the Vets today for his jabs and to get him chipped and we ended up being sat there for over an hour as some young lad had to come in and get his dog PTS so we all let him go straight through and they were mega busy anyway. But he just lapped up the attention Silly me didn't want to put him down outside the vets so put him straight into the car on his seatbelt on the back seat and the little bugger (who must have been busting to go by then) just christened the back seat of my car with puppy pee

Re: Tommy and the yellow garden snake
Ha ha, all par for the course! It sounds like he's settling in really well, I bet you're all completely in love with him. I'm so jealous, I'd love another pup but my hubby is having none of it
Ah well, I'll just have to content myself with pics of the gorgeous Tommy, he reminds me so much of Charlie at that age - give him a big squish from me

Re: Tommy and the yellow garden snake
We had about 3 or 4 green garden snakes appear at our house when Izzy was little.
Love it

You've obviously never met anyone from the North East of England Lee Hope you don't think this is in bad taste but we used to make a joke

He is cute and also a little tough guy, he can have some proper rumbles with Tilly , but she's being very good and semi gentle about it in her Staffy way
