HOMED - Quist, Staffie, DOB 04.11 – Farnham, Surrey
Quist, Staffie, DOB 04.11 – Farnham, Surrey
Homing requirements: Quist needs a home with either a fluent other dog or a companionship home to involve and engage his intelligent energy. Needs to be steered away from 'tug of war' activities which were promoted in his first home. Hide and seek and fetch will be favoured. Secure garden. As Quist settles and achieves manners with other dogs, he will regain his 'off lead' status.
His Story: Quist grew up with 2 teenage lads who walked him off lead and played rough and tumble with him. The owner's health required hospitalisation so he was surrendered into another rescue. Neutered, chipped and fully vax'd. Now in Farnham kennels, Surrey awaiting foster or his new home.
Advert: Quist has quest and is full of kisses! Delightful chap to be in the presence of; he is full of play and happiness. He can get a little focused on toys and balls but exercise will distract him nicely, as will the hint of tempting favours! Housetraining a little bit fragile when left for long periods but with routine and activity before leaving, he settles. A little lad who travels well in a crate. Meets other dogs well out and about and is eager ... yes an eager beaver.
Quist is a small, neat, bright, orange Staffie! His depth of colour to match his depth of commitment. He wears his heart on his sleeve, he sits to meet children and if more than a minute his tummy is offered for further engagement. He hasn’t lived with young children so needs supervision and a settled environment. Quist hasn't a bad bone in his body; all smiles and devotion. You have to love Quist's energy ... like Orange Zest ... enlivening!
Please note this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
Please visit Quist’s thread on our forum: http://rescueremedies.myfastforum.org/sutra93458.php#93458 to find out if he is still available and for fuller details
