Hi all,
Im new to this site and have just brought a red female staffordshire and she is just beautiful and we love her lots, i have a quick few questions, Firstly can somebody tell me the best things to do for the lil lady to feel comfortable in her new home and also where abouts is a good place to buy supplys for her online for example crates, toys and other fun staff for her.

Hi Joelle,
Welcome and you must post some pics of the lil lady
If you are going to crate her , I would get it asap..
Did you know you were getting her?. or was she a xmas gift?

Re: Puppy supplys
Whereabouts are you? And what's your little treasure's name?
This is where we got our crate - we got the big one at the bottom, but we have a Bull Terrier, so he's a bit bigger than a staff.

You can probably get some good deals off ebay, though.
As to supplies, you're better off just 'shopping around' on the internet & find some bargains, I can't really recommend any particular site.
Same with food unless you're feeding raw.

Re: Puppy supplys
Hi Joelle. Welcome to the forum. Congrats on your new addition, now the fun starts. I would definitely suggest a crate, with some blankets and toys to keep your pup comfy and happy. Crates also do wonders for housetraining and are a safe place to put your puppy if you are unable to watch her. As for where to buy things, your best bet is just to look around, check out the best deals. I personally love Pets at home. They have everything you could possibly need. There are plenty of Pets at home stores and you can order online too. I'm making a trip to my local Pets at home this week to pick up a few things for my pup. Is there anything in particular you're looking for?

I also hunted thru the "cheap $2 shops" for toys and teddies... they are only $1.50.. I just buy the rope type without the squeakers etc... she has an octopus and seems to love that the best

I can't do that any more with Dempsey, he shreds them & them eats them - he isn't very bright!
