Licking walls and chewing??????
Hi. I've not been on the forum for a while as things have been going ok ish with Kizzy. She is excercised and has lots of toys and gets played with all of the time, however whenever she gets the chance to she licks my walls, down to the plaster and then starts on that. or if any shoes or kids toys are left lying accidently they get chewed too. Also my skirting boards and door frames are pretty much damanged beyond repair now. Please does anyone have any ideas????
We've tried bones and had a bad scare when a piece got stuck inside her so she'sno longer given bones. She has raw hide bones constantly but it's like she's fed up with them.
I am at my wits end.
Kizzy is ten months old

Re: Licking walls and chewing??????
Could it be caused by seperation anxiety? Mine have always done this as well but I've just used Bitter Apple or a different deterent on the problem areas and it has stopped.

We found a huge crate has been fantastic and saved our furniture. We leave a radio on and leave him with Nylabones and a stuffed frozen kong, these are not toys that he has access to when we are at home, which makes them a bit extra special for him.

If it's not a teething thing it could be seperation anxiety.
